We are a dance studio that prides itself on quality dance education at an affordable price. We make dance fun, yet challenging for every dancer.
Services
What We Offer
There are two options to choose from when deciding what classes to take. Recreational classes are great for beginners, and those on a budget. Competitive dancers must audition, spend more time in the studio, and are subject to additional fees.
Recreational
Our recreational classes focus on basic technique of various styles for all ages and skill levels. Classes meet once a week, September – June, and perform in our recital in June.
Competitive
Competitive classes allow intermediate to advanced dancers to show off their skills at competitions throughout the season. Classes meet up to four times a week, September – June, and perform in our recital in June.
Upcoming Events
Dance Expressions is excited to perform in the Mebane Christmas Parade this year. Keep an eye out on out Facebook for upcoming additional appearances. Our annual recital will be in June of 2025, so mark your calendars!

Community Involvement
Competing at dance competitions is not the most important thing we do. We believe it is important to be compassionate, and we teach our dancers to use their talents to bring joy to other people. If you would like us to perform at your event, please fill out the form below.
Mebane Christmas Parade
Dance Expressions has performed in the Mebane Christmas Parade for over five years in a row. We love to be able to bring smiles to people of all ages as they watch us perform in downtown. You may have also seen us in other parades in our area such as Bahama, Durham, and Hillsborough parades.
Mebane Dogwood Festival
We love performing in Downtown Mebane! We try to attend as many events as we can. Some of our favorites are the Halloween and springtime events. When we aren’t dancing we enjoy walking around and connecting with our community.
Nursing Homes
Our most favorite way to give back to our community is to visit nursing homes. Performing for the residents and taking time to talk with them can be so special. These people may not be able to leave their home, so it is our job to bring community and joy to them!
Where are they now?
Many Dance Expressions graduates have begun their professional careers. Some have had the opportunity to dance professionally. Dance Expressions dancers have moved on to Dollywood, College Dance Teams, and more!
